Everyone receives letters etc. with postage stamps on the envelopes. Now is your chance to raise funds for Smilie's Network from something that is normally thrown out with the rubbish - start collecting used postage stamps.

What stamps do you collect?

Any stamps are suitable including: UK, world, old, new, used, unused, postcards, First day Covers, Presentation packs, Mini Sheets, Sheets of stamps, interesting envelopes, collections, on paper, off paper, Philatelic Ephemera including anything related to the Postal Service/Post Office etc.

What do you do now?

Start collecting! Schools, Offices, Work Places, Clubs etc. are all good places to put a collecting box or large envelope and just let people know what you are doing.

If you are a stamp collector, why not donate your duplicates and spares?

The stamps must still be on a small part of the envelope/package/address label etc. with no more than a 1/4 inch (1 cm) of paper all round. It is very important NOT to cut into the stamp at all or attempt to remove the stamp from the paper as this can cause damage.

When you have enough stamps put them into a box or strong package and send them to the address below.

What happens next?
